Beyond the Business Case for AI

Exploring the human side of AI adoption

Karen Spinner

AI, even if it doesn't always live up to the hype, is already changing many aspects of our lives from how we work every day to how our kids are being taught. We need more honest conversations about AI's real-world impact, beyond the business lens.

Hi, I'm Karen Spinner. WonderingAbout.AI is where I'll be writing about the human side of AI adoption. From shifts in creative industries to classroom policies and everyday tools, this blog will look at the real-world impact of AI beyond business strategy and into daily life.

I’ve spent 15+ years helping B2B companies explain complex ideas and recently launched Good Content, a writing agency that combines a human-first creative process with the transparent use of AI tools. That process is still evolving—like everything in this space.

My goal is to look beyond industry talking points to document how AI is showing up in real-life. Depending on the topic, I may scrape (ethically, of course) thousands of social media posts, run quick experiments, interview experts, or simply talk with people dealing with AI-related change firsthand.

Share Your Perspective

I'm actively looking for guest posts and topic suggestions from people experiencing AI's impact firsthand. Whether you're a teacher navigating AI in the classroom, a developer adopting coding assistance tools, or a creative professional working with AI-generated art, I'd love to hear from you.

Topics I'm especially interested in:

  • AI's impact on education and learning
  • Creative industries and AI-generated content
  • Ethics, copyright, and legal implications
  • Workplace dynamics and human-AI collaboration
  • Social and cultural shifts caused by AI adoption
  • Unexpected use cases and unintended consequences
